		<description>a good part of it is product liability insurance even though you are supposed to know how to use it many don&#039;t  and end up burning down there garages and end up suing the manufacture for a faulty product so it is the consumer who pays</description>

		<description>well, to regulate the pressure of oxygen, you need a device that can contain pressurised oxygen.

As im sure your aware, oxygen is an oxidiser (duurrr) and when you put it under pressure it will corrode and oxidise whatever it is contained by.

The regulator need to be able to not be corroded by pressurised oxygen, so all of its parts need to be made of special materials, includeing the seals.

Also a regulator and gauge assembly ha sa lot of intricate parts that need to be calibrated and made very precisely, its simply not very cheap to do.</description>

		<description>I think you&#039;ll find that the priority in the manufacture of oxyacetylene equipment is their safety. Any malfunction in one of these units could be catastrophic.</description>
